AVEVA adds browser access to Unified Engineering and an industrial knowledge graph to CONNECT
Announcements at AVEVA World spanned CONNECT, Unified Engineering, Operations Control and the PI portfolio.
AVEVA announced a set of AI and data updates across its industrial software portfolio, reported on 21 May 2026 in connection with its AVEVA World event.
For AVEVA Unified Engineering, the company described browser-based access to both cloud and on-premises project data, integration with its Flows data pipeline through CONNECT, and a new marine design offering covering hull design, outfitting and 2D schematics.
The CONNECT platform gains integrations with Snowflake and ServiceNow, an industrial knowledge graph for modelling asset relationships in digital twins, and a twin builder that uses agentic AI to map data sources to a standard data model. Flows, which came from AVEVA's acquisition of Crosser, offers more than 800 connectors.
AVEVA also described native C# and Python support in its HMI and SCADA platform, performance and scalability work in PI Server and a new PI Audit Reporter developed with Cognizant. Model Context Protocol integrations were presented as future work.
For industrial enterprises, the challenge is not ambition but infrastructure.
