Trimble announced on 2 April 2026 an agreement to acquire Document Crunch, which makes AI software that analyses construction project documents to flag contract risks such as payment disputes and notification failures. The platform is available to civil and building contractors in North America.

Trimble said it intends to add Document Crunch's document intelligence and compliance automation across its construction portfolio, including project management and construction ERP workflows, so that contract obligations, compliance requirements and payment terms feed into Trimble Construction One. Integrations are on the future roadmap.

Trimble's later quarterly filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission states that the acquisition closed on 4 April 2026 for consideration of $246.4 million for 100% of the equity, funded from its credit facilities. Document Crunch is reported in Trimble's AECO segment.
