Structural & Piping Analysis
Analysis software checks that pipes, structures and pressure equipment survive what the plant will put them through: thermal expansion, pressure, wind, seismic loads, waves and fatigue. Pipe-stress programs evaluate systems against piping codes, structural packages design steel and concrete frames, offshore tools model jackets and topsides, and vessel programs size pressure parts to the applicable rules. How to choose
Code coverage comes first. Confirm the exact piping, structural and pressure-vessel codes and editions your projects use, and how quickly the vendor follows code revisions.
Look at the round trip with the 3D model: importing geometry from plant design, and sending supports, steel sizes or stress results back without manual re-entry.
Auditability matters for checking and client review. Clear calculation reports, version control of models and stable results between releases are part of the engineering deliverable.
